The Grand Island Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition is searching for a full-time Coalition Coordinator. This is a grant-funded position and responsibilities include coordinating local substance abuse prevention efforts; grant writing, management, and reporting; facilitating monthly Coalition meetings; community educational presentations; and community collaboration. Position requires good communication and organizational skills and the ability to plan and organize time, prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field; experience working with diverse groups; basic understanding of alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention concepts and services; computer literate. Must have a valid Nebraska Drivers License and own transportation. Background check required. Bilingual skills beneficial. EOE.
