The Central Nebraska Council on Alcoholism and Addictions, Inc. is a non-profit corporation affiliated with the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. This organization, its programs, activities and services are supported in whole, or in part by Grant # 93.959 under the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Center for Substance Abuse Prevention and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Tobacco Free Nebraska Program, and the Central District Health Department. Additional financial support is provided by Hall County, Heartland United Way, and tax- deductible donations.
TOBACCO FREE HALL COUNTY
Tabacco Free Hall County (TFHC) is a local, proactive tobacco education and prevention coalition in Grand Island/Hall County, Nebraska. Formed in the fall of 1994 Coalition members and affiliated agencies participate in tobacco education and prevention through countywide activities and projects. TFHC collaborates with various agencies, organizations, citizen and students engaging in a multitude of activities.
Through these collaborative efforts, we are mindful of racial, social, economic and gender disparities in our education and prevention messages.

The Mission of Tobacco Free Hall County is to promote healthy lives free of tobacco in all its forms. Coalition members and affiliates know that all forms of tobacco products interfere with healthy lifestyles and harm both users and those near users. They also know that tobacco use often leads to the use of other drugs.
Affiliates of Tobacco Free Hall County envision a future free of tobacco.
Tobacco Free Hall county meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday of every month from
11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
